Located about 30 miles west from Tulum and 70 miles southwest from Playa del Carmen, Coba has the only pyramid that you can still climb in the Yucatan area. 120 steps to the top of “Nohoch Mul” will challenge visitors to discovered brethtaking views of the jungle and sorroundings of this great archaeological site.
Coba was one of the most important Mayan Cities due to the proximity to the port of Tulum and Xelha and it was a big trade center at a time where nearly 50 thousand people lived around Coba. There are still many mysteries to solve in this great site since less than 50% of the city has been excavated.

You can walk the whole tour or rent a bicycle. No wheelchairs are allowed inside Coba but there are tricycles also available.

We recommed to start at 7:00 am the earliest or 14:00 hrs the latest. The tour takes from 6 to 7 hrs including the ruins, cenote & visiting a small mayan village.
